Accessibility Statement

Tammy Shmueli's studio attaches great importance to providing equal, respectful and accessible service to every person, including people with disabilities. This website was made accessible in accordance with Israel's Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773–2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.1 guidelines at level AA.

What has been done on the site

  • The site is available in Hebrew (right to left) and English (left to right), with a clear, hierarchical heading structure.
  • The whole site can be navigated using the keyboard alone (Tab, Enter, Escape and the arrow keys in the gallery).
  • Images have a text description for screen readers, and decorative images are marked so they are skipped.
  • Buttons and links have clear names, and the contact form includes labels for every field and status messages.
  • Contrast ratios between text and background were chosen for readability.
  • Visitors who have set "reduce motion" on their device get the site without scroll animations.
  • The display can be enlarged in the browser (Ctrl and +) up to 200% without losing content.
  • The site is adapted to phones, tablets and computers, and was checked in the common browsers.

Accessibility arrangements at the studio

The studio works mainly through meetings arranged in advance, at the project site, or by video and phone calls. I will gladly adapt the format of the meeting, its location and the way materials are presented (for example, enlarged drawings or a verbal explanation) to the needs of each client. Please mention this when arranging the meeting.

Parts that may not yet be fully accessible

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible, for example the embedded Spotify podcast player, whose accessibility is Spotify's responsibility. We continue to improve the site on an ongoing basis.
